PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In 2011, DOVE Minerals, in association with TEMA Nordic Co., successfully implemented a large-scale alluvial gold mining operation in Ghana.
The project targeted rich placer (alluvial) gold deposits, and to achieve this, DOVE designed, supplied, and commissioned a customized EXPLORER® modular gold processing plant with a capacity of 150 tons per hour (TPH).
This plant was the first of its kind within the concession, marking a significant milestone in Ghana’s mining industry by replacing artisanal practices with a modern, professional, and sustainable gold recovery system.

The Ghana gold processing plant was configured with DOVE’s proven multi-stage gravity recovery system, engineered for maximum efficiency in alluvial environments while ensuring environmental compliance.
Key Features:
✅ Large bulk feed hopper for direct feeding by dump trucks
✅ Equipped with high-pressure hydraulic cannons to disintegrate ore and form slurry
✅ Trommel classifier for size separation and clay treatment
✅ Primary and secondary jig concentrators for gravity recovery of coarse and fine gold
✅ VBS® Concentrators and Shaking Tables for final cleanup of ultra-fine gold particles
✅ Closed-loop water recycling system to minimize consumption and environmental impact
✅ Eco-friendly design – 100% recycled water, no toxic chemicals.
This robust system allowed for continuous high-capacity operation at 150 TPH, ensuring maximum recovery with zero gold loss, while maintaining full compliance with Ghana’s mining and environmental standards.
